Rachel Hewitt-Hall MBACP (Accred)
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in education, media, and learning & development. I’ve also run a global company, so I understand the real‑world pressures of business, leadership, and supporting teams — the kind of challenges that can take a toll on wellbeing.
Like most people, I’ve had my share of life experiences too. While your story may be different from mine, I deeply believe that adversity can shape us in powerful ways — building resilience, humility, empathy, and a clearer sense of what truly matters.
With over a decade of experience, I bring a grounded, integrative approach to therapy, supervision, and coaching. My background spans clinical psychotherapy, trauma‑informed practice, somatic and creative approaches, nature‑based work, and energy‑aligned modalities — giving me a wide and flexible toolkit to draw from.
I originally trained in person‑centred counselling and psychotherapy at degree level through a BACP‑accredited programme, and since then I’ve continued to deepen my work through ongoing professional development in areas such as trauma, EMDR‑informed practice, NLP, supervision, neurodiversity, somatic healing, relationship diversity, and complex emotional landscapes.
I’ve worked with adults, young people, families, and practitioners — offering support with trauma, relational dynamics, anxiety, self‑esteem, identity, grief, emotional regulation, and patterns shaped by childhood experiences.
What matters most isn’t the list — it’s how I use what I know. I’ve sat in the client’s chair myself and continue to do my own work, so I understand how vulnerable, challenging, and ultimately transformative this process can be. I know firsthand how good life becomes when we allow ourselves to live authentically, congruently, and even a little playfully.
I bring warmth, groundedness, intuition, and the right amount of challenge and humour. I’m here to help you understand yourself, shift what’s stuck, and move toward a life that feels more aligned, more regulated, and more your own.
