I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I have a background in learning and development.
As a person-centred counsellor and supervisor, I work with whatever you bring to our sessions and create a safe, empathic and accepting environment in which you can explore your feelings.
I am also an NLP Practitioner and believe my background in people development and coaching further enhances my counselling practice.
I've also run a global learning and development company, so understand the pressures and challenges of the working environment, including leading and managing people.
I have volunteered as a counsellor at No.22 in Maidenhead and have been an Advocate for the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead; representing under 18s at Child Protection Conferences.
I am passionate about the outdoors and how nature can have a positive effect on our mental wellbeing. My practice is in the heart of the Chilterns surrounded by countryside, so I can offer outdoor therapy when appropriate. My counselling room is quiet and private with parking and toilet facilities and is located on the ground floor.
As a member of the BACP I adhere to their Ethical Framework for Counselling and Psychotherapy and have professional indemnity insurance and I also have regular clinical supervision.

I work with both short-term interventions and long-term support depending on your requirements. I will work alongside you in a confidential, non-judgemental and empathic way, which will allow you the time and space to explore your feelings and face whatever issues you have to enable you to move forward.
Confidentiality is essential for you to feel safe to share personal thoughts and feelings with me. We will discuss this when we contract together.
I follow BACP guidelines on Confidentiality.
